A Nice Elkington George V Silver Plated Swing-Handle Fruit/ Cake Basket with a pierced gallery and shaped, scrollwork rim. The form is oval with a deep bowl and an elevated rim designed to present contents attractively. The rim is finished with bold rococo-style scrolls and small flourishes that give a distinctly George III feel. Marked ‘Elkington (A)’ on the base for the year 1912.
