A superb set of English early Victorian gilded brass postal scales with lovely enamel decoration to pans in the typical Victorian style. They come with their original brass weights and have rope decoration the oval base. Though unmarked these are English and were probably made by a good maker such as S. Mordan & Co circa 1860. Worldwide first class tracked and signed for delivery is included in the price. Measurements: Length: 7 (approx 17.5cm) Height: 4 1/4 (approx 11cm) Width: 4 1/4 (approx 11cm) Superb and in original condition great addition to an office or as part of a collection. Condition: They are in excellent condition though there are a couple of tiny flea-bite chips to the edge of the enamel on one of the pans which you can see with an eyeglass.
