This Charming Pair of Antique Edwardian Candlesticks brings together warm brass tones with richly detailed copper panels in a striking repoussé design. Likely dating to the 19th century, each candlestick stands on a square base adorned with playful putti figures among scrolling vines and grape clusters - a motif drawn from classical and Renaissance revival styles that symbolize joy, festivity, and abundance.
The stems are classically proportioned, with applied copper bands around the candle sockets echoing the same decorative grapevine motif, while the brass provides a glowing contrast that highlights the intricate workmanship – circa 1905.
