This Art Gold Bronze tobacco box by Elkington shows Sir Walter Raleigh negotiating with Natives for tobacco trade. The two matching spills depict natives picking the tobacco leaves. This very unusual piece could have other uses such as a desk top tide and pen holders (perhaps). Dates around 1870 and the approximate measurements are H6xW5 (diameter of box) Spills 3 3/4 x 2 1/2 diameter. Each piece is in excellent condition.
