A radiant example of 1920s glamour and precision craftsmanship, this sterling silver and guilloché enamel glass jar brings the timeless elegance of the Art Deco era into the modern collector’s hands. Hallmarked for London, 1929, this piece seamlessly blends brilliant materials, delicate engraving, and stylish design.
Its vivid apple green guilloché enamel lid, shimmering with intricate wave-patterned engine turning beneath a translucent glaze, sits atop a body of finely cut lead crystal. The lid is silver gilt on the underside, and the glass is hand-etched with floral and bow motifs - delicate, feminine, and finely executed.
