A Nice Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Propelling Pencil By S. Mordan & Co with a fitted wooden pencil point. The body is richly decorated with dense foliate engraving, giving a highly ornamental Victorian feel. The slide mechanism is set into a long channel along the barrel, typical of quality propelling pencils of the period. This silver item is unmarked – circa 1880.
