A Nice Antique Victorian Silver Plated Nautilus Shell Spoon Warmer. The shell-shaped reservoir is intended to be filled with hot water so that serving spoons can be rested warm between use. The body is smoothly finished with a bright reflective surface that emphasises the spiral shell form. The piece is raised on a cast base modelled as rockwork – circa 1890.
* As a display object it works well among other serving silver, coastal-themed pieces, or a curated cabinet of table curiosities.
