An Antique Victorian Glass Butter Dish with beautifully engraved silver plated lid and stand. The glass bowl has a radial starburst, giving a bright, prismatic look when it catches the light.
The octagonal base plate is richly engraved with scrollwork, fan motifs and small leaf details in a repeating border. The lid presents the same engraved decoration to match the base, creating a cohesive set designed for formal table service - circa 1890.
* This piece works beautifully for butter, soft cheeses, petits fours or as a lidded sweetmeat dish
