A Nice Pair of Antique Victorian Elkington Silver Plated Grape Scissors with refined spiral-twist handles. A circular boss at the joint and the long, tapered blades create a balanced silhouette with a pleasing sense of craftsmanship.
The original fitted case is covered in a dark leatherette-style material and opens to reveal deep blue velvet with a gathered blue silk lid. Marked for the renowned maker Elkington & Co and stamped with the date latter ‘F’ for 1891.
