An Antique Victorian Brass Needle Case with a hinged lid and a sliding mechanism. Inside, the case is arranged with multiple narrow compartments intended to hold packets or loose sewing needles separately. A sliding mechanism on the front and back of the needle case can be used to move the internal needle cases in and out – circa 1890.
