A Striking Antique Scottish Silver Brooch set with a vivid Citrine at its heart. Crafted with intricate metalwork and accented by banded agate panels, this piece exemplifies the romantic spirit and detailed craftsmanship of 19th-century Scottish design. The outer edge is encircled with decorative beading and raised silver points, enhancing its bold, shield-like appearance. Comes in a velvet and silver lined presentation box (not original) – circa 1880.

In good condition – Excellent antique condition with minor signs of age, consistent with a piece from the late 19th century. The Citrine Gemstone is bright and securely set with no chips or cracks. The pin and clasp is fully functional with good tension.
