An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Whistle decorated with engraved floral sprays. An oval panel to the front is engraved with a stylised flower within a decorative frame. As was sometimes the case with very small silver articles of the late 18th century, a full set of hallmarks are not present on this whistle. A maker’s mark reading “SB” is clearly visible on the reverse - circa 1790. This whistle is in full working order with a lovely sound.
