An Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Tea Caddy with a neatly proportioned oval body. The exterior is detailed with fine beaded borders at the rim and base, giving a crisp, classical outline. Twin lion mask mounts with drop-ring handles add a traditional decorative flourish and a strong period feel. The hinged lid sits snugly within the top edge and closes cleanly to protect the contents. A tea caddy spoon is included, suitable for measuring or serving loose tea from the caddy – circa 1905.
* A lidded tea caddy like this brings the ritual of loose-leaf tea back to the centre of the table.
