An Antique Edwardian Silver Plated on Copper Double Inkstand with a domed hinged lid and crisp beaded edging. The interior is fitted to hold two square cut-glass inkwells, each with a silver plated collar at the neck. The form is compact and architectural, with a clean rectangular body raised on small bun feet.
A removable insert plate is included, creating two apertures that locate the inkwells securely in use. The cut glass bottles have angled sides and geometric cutting that catches the light with a subtle sparkle – circa 1905.
* It would suit a traditional study, library setting, or a contemporary desk needing a period accent. When closed, the piece reads as a neat desk box, keeping the contents protected and visually tidy.
