A Nice Edwardian butter dish comprising a scalloped-edge stand, a cut glass dish insert, and a matching spreader. The stand has a pleasing circular form with a wavy, scalloped rim that gives it a nice decorative presence. The insert is a cut glass dish with a bright starburst base and diamond-cut side banding that catches the light beautifully. The set includes a small silver plated spreader with a shaped blade and delicate floral engraving to the terminal – circa 1905.
